I confirmed that the original sale was processed on the Virtual and asked her how she was logged in. She was logged in as the CCUser. I told her to do refunds she would need to log in as the Branch user. Once she did that the Refund option was there. She successfully processed the refund.
3 Aug 01 2023 User: Charlotte Goff -> Notes: noticed that 1/12 did not batch - called branch spoke to Tonya. She got batch close error when trying to batch out. Found $370.00 trans - card 1168 - as 1st trans on current batch. Confirmed that the trans was run through the virtual. Deleted that trans from batch and was able to successfully close batch.

5 Aug 01 2023 User: Charlotte Goff -> Notes: Sonia called and wanted to know why she could never get the refund option for a cardholder. I explained that the refund would have to be run through the same device as the original sale and that she would need to be logged in as the Branch user if she was running a refund in the virtual. Also wanted to know how to save a regular customer's card on file so I sent her those specific pages of the QRG.
6 Aug 01 2023 User: Charlotte Goff -> Notes: Spoke to Sonia regarding a duplicate transaction of $67.83 authorized on 6/29/21. Swipe Simple only showed 1 transaction but Vantiv showed 2 transactions. I called Swipe Simple (spoke to Grace) and had them research the duplication and asked them how to refund the customer. They recommended that we issue the refund through TSYS Sierra which we did. Also per Swipe Simple's recommendation due to some diagnostic reports coming to them in a strange state we uninstalled and reinstalled the app on their terminal.
