Chris called again this morning. they received the A920 replacement for the A80 terminal and they plugged it in and used it yesterday 3/13/25. But this terminal did the same thing as the A80s were doing. We tried to roll the version back to a previous version since this issue of Batch Close Error (adding 4 extra digits to a card number at batch time) started on 3/5....the day after Mike installed the latest version of Swipe Simple in their terminal. So I called Swipe Simple and spoke to Amanda and told her what is going on. She took down examples and all the notes and said that she will talk to other team members and the Engineers to see why this is happening. In the meantime, to keep this account, we decided to send them Dejavoo terminals - a P1 and 2 P5s to go in the office and to replace the 2 B250 dongles they use in the field. Emily gave permission to send it out NDA for Saturday delivery. Chris was extremely frustrated that his has been going on since 3/5 and said that he will just go back to Square if we can't find a solution for him. |

Spoke to Chris, informed him we are sending him a PAX A920 to replace his A80 as this issue is still persisting. They should be receiving it on 03/12/2025. Running the card transactions for card 2568 for 31.18 and card 4390 for 43.66. Called Robert after to let him know and to check the batch. |

Spoke to Robert/Chris, one card ending in 2568 for 31.18 got the last 4 digits duplicated causing a Batch Close Error on the Pax A80. Missing partial batch from 03/07/2025 and all transactions from 03/08/2025. |

spoke to Chris again. His terminal did not batch again for 3/5/25 transactions. This time there were 4 transactions that were the issue and we had to reauthorize them on today's date - 3/6/25. Visa Card 7539 for $25.99 on 3/4/25 did not batch for whatever reason. Visa Card 4861 for $113.31 rejected again at batch time because the card number had 4 extra digits in it. MC Card 2386 for $236.29 and also MC card 9381 for $29.11 also had an extra 4 digits at the end of the card causing them to reject. We reauthorized all 4 of these on the VT in Swipe Simple |

spoke to Chris and Robert - their terminal did not batch out for 3/4/25 - was getting batch close error. I called SBC and found out that Visa card 4861 for $113.31 was the transaction that was causing the error. I deleted that transaction from the TSYS batch and the batch closed successfully. We were able to reauthorize that transaction on today's date. Due to the issue that he's been having with the Pax A80, we will be swapping out that terminal for another A80. We are also replacing one of his bluetooth readers because it will not stay charged. Sending return label in box for them to ship the bad equipment back. |

Chris called and was getting "Account Inactive" when trying to get into Pioneer. Had him clear his cache and cookies and try per SBC's memo but he still couldn't get in. Called SBC and Ayana was able to do something on her end and then he was able to login. |

Robert called in and needed to do a refund for a card that was run on 6/20/23 for $281.30 on card 4177 but was showing declined in SS. At that point the customer gave the merchant a different card and it was approved. The customer came back in to say that he was billed for the transaction that showed declined. I confirmed that both transactions had been batched in Pioneer. Because the one transaction was declined, they could not issue a refund on his card, so I had him run the refund in TSYS. |
