1 Dec 13 2023 12:00 AM Morgan Withee Kabir said the merchant was trying to add in doordash to their clover. Merchant was getting an error from door dash that they couldnt pull the menu and they needed to contact Clover. He also did not have access to order types or online ordering in his clover dashboard. I got logged into their Dashboard to see they are on the register package which does not offer online ordering. I suggested they upgrade their plan to the CSR plan which included online ordering. I gave him the directions on how to do so: He can do that by logging into his dashboard, Account & Setup, Service Plan, Change Plan - CSR. Once he does that he should have door dash reattempt and they should be able to pull the menu. Dee Karawadra Jan 31 2024 01:39 PM

3 Nov 21 2023 12:00 AM Morgan Withee Kabir had a question about the back up battery: "My merchant is inquiring about why his backup power on the clover duo didn’t kick in when his power failed the other day. When I looked online it stated that the duo has a 4 hour lithium battery. I looked for tutorials on how to activate it but I didn’t see anything. Do you have any suggestions? My other thought was just to buy a backup battery (net zero) or something similar…but would prefer to find out why the clover’s backup didn't work." I responded and let him know: "Okay, I have a better understanding of what this lithium battery is for now. This 4-hour lithium battery is not meant for the merchant to use without power. This protects the device against tampering. The backup battery should last if you are in the middle of a transaction. However, it is not meant to keep the device on when there is no power at all. If they need something like this a flex would be a better option as this can run without being plugged in and runs off the battery and/or cellular if needed. If they lose power often then I would suggest a backup battery such as net zero. But those backup batteries don't stay on for a huge period of time either. Is losing power a common occurrence for this merchant? Did their old Clover stay on after power was lost? " Waiting to hear back to see if he needs any more help Dee Karawadra Jan 31 2024 01:39 PM
