3 Aug 01 2023 12:00 AM Spoke with Alva due to batch close error. Trans $34.57 card 7786 was paid by check after the card was ran in terminal holding up the batch. Called TSYS due to the batch close error that kept coming up and they in fact said it was successful so I checked this morning to see if it batched in the system and it did. I walked her through how to pull up the transaction in Transaction History and she was able to get the card refunded. 7 Aug 01 2023 12:00 AM User: Charlotte Goff -> Notes: Holly called asking if a cardholder #2466 had been billed for $96.05 from 3/14/22 transaction date. I don't see any transactions on the terminal from 3/11 up through today 3/16/22 nor did I find the transaction had been run on the computer. She will authorize the transaction again. 9 Aug 01 2023 12:00 AM User: Charlotte Goff -> Notes: Holly called in to say that her transactions taken on the virtual terminal for 12/14/21 were not showing up on her report. I called Swipe Simple and spoke to Grace. Swipe Simple did have an issue with the mobile account batches for 12/14 that will cause them to go out a day late and the reports will appear that no transactions were batched if the report is pulled in the morning. 10 Aug 01 2023 12:00 AM User: Charlotte Goff -> Notes: TT Holly and she said they tried to run a $311.08 sale on the terminal and it stuck in processing for a long time and then it just came back with a check mark. She looking in SwipeSimple at the terminal transactions and did not see the transaction listed so she keyed it in on the Virtual. Cardholder called the branch and said he had checked with his bank and it had been authorized twice. I confirmed that the transaction was not listed on the terminal but I did see it in virtual. To prevent the batch from locking up I did delete the transaction from the TSYS current batch and explained that the additional authorization on the cardholder's account will drop off in a few days and those dollars will go back to his credit available. Called the branch and spoke to Holly and explained to her that offline means there is no internet connection. Checked terminal to make sure that the terminal did have the internet connection.
