1 Aug 01 2023 12:00 AM Spoke with Clint due to batch close error. Trans $10.43 card 8998 was paid by check after the card was ran in terminal holding up the batch. Called TSYS due to the batch close error that kept coming up and they in fact said it was successful so I checked this morning to see if it batched in the system and it did. 4 Aug 01 2023 12:00 AM User: Charlotte Goff -> Notes: Lori called in to say that they moved their terminal yesterday and since they've moved it (5 ft from where it was) that it's been messing up and timing out a lot. She said that she also did not get a batch receipt from yesterday. I did look in IQ and confirmed that the terminal did batch out and matched the total showing in Swipe Simple. I told her that when her terminal times out like that it's most likely due to a spotty WiFi signal. She said she would keep an eye on it. I gave her the totals from yesterday. 5 Aug 01 2023 12:00 AM User: Charlotte Goff -> Notes: Linda called to say that she tried to run a card today for $118.45 and received some kind of error. She couldn't remember what kind of error but she looked in the Transaction history on the terminal and could not find the transaction. She also looked in the computer and couldn't see it. The cardholder called their bank and the bank told the cardholder that it did go through. I informed her that it is probably in a pending status right now and that he should not actually get billed because his bank will not receive settlement on it.
